NACIS Statement in Support of LGBTQ+ Communities

NACIS does not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or mistreatment of anyone, whether explicit or implied. We strongly reject all forms of racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, queerphobia, religious intolerance, and any actions that infringe on the dignity of our members. 

We do not agree with the conference host state (or any state) government actively discriminating against trans folx (sources: discrimination in care and sport) and call for the state to not pass discriminatory legislation. 

In an effort to support trans youth in Oklahoma, we encourage the NACIS members to donate to the following organizations. $1, $5, $10, $20, or more…. any amount goes a long way!

  • Pull For Pride’s Share The Platform Grant, provides funding to transgender and gender nonconforming athletes for costs related to participation in strength sports.
