Your conference toolkit


As you prepare to travel to Tacoma, remember to:

 Browse the conference program in Sched and choose which sessions you want to attend

 Get the Slack app set up with the NACIS Slack group so you can participate in online conversations

 Review our Code of Conduct and always remember that NACIS is nicest

 Take a look at the What to Expect page if you’re new to NACIS or returning after a long absence

 If you’re presenting at PCD or the Main Conference, please review the presenter guidelines
 

NACIS 101


Are you attending NACIS for the first time and feeling a little overwhelmed? Join us in the Map Gallery at 8am on Thursday Oct. 17th for a special introductory session designed specifically for you. New Attendee Ambassadors (Joanna Merson, Sarah Bell, David Nuttall, and Daniel Wood) and Program Co-chairs Hannah Dormido and Vicky Johnson-Dahl will be there to help you get oriented and answer your questions. 

Whether you’re looking to make the most of the sessions, connect with fellow cartography enthusiasts, or navigate the event easily, meet us in the Map Gallery for a warm welcome and some pro tips to start your conference off right!
 

Don’t forget to vote for the NACIS Board before voting closes at 11:59pm on Oct 14th.
