A Queer Geography of UW-Madison

This interactive map visualizes the results of a 316-respondent survey conducted for my Senior Colloquium the semester prior, in which I sought to answer the question of which near-campus neighborhoods LGBTQ+ students at UW-Madison chose to reside in and why. As part of the survey, respondents identified their residences from a set of (unofficial) neighborhoods, some demographic information, and a set of Likert-scale questions asking respondents to evaluate their neighborhoods’ LGBTQ+-inclusiveness.
