Submit a Proposal for 2022

Join us October 19–22, 2022 in Minneapolis, Minnesota!

We cordially invite you to participate in the North American Cartographic Information Society’s (NACIS) 42nd annual meeting at The Depot in downtown Minneapolis. We encourage you to submit proposals for the main conference, Practical Cartography Day, discussion panels, specialty themed sessions, workshops, or field trips about anything related to cartography.

Practical Cartography Day*
PCD is held one day before the Main Conference and focuses on practical map-making in all formats and mediums. Present your newest mapping tips, methods, processes, or design ideas at this popular event.

Share your cartographic accomplishments, research, or ideas with the NACIS community during our main sessions.

Workshops & Field Trips*
Organize a post-conference mapping workshop or field trip in the Minneapolis area. Get in touch with [email protected] with your ideas.

* Practical Cartography Day, workshops, and field trips require registration separate from the Main Conference.

  Travel Grants  

NACIS offers travel grants for members and student members. Please check the travel grant page for currently available financial support. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis starting June 30, 2022.

Submission Deadline: August 31, 2022
